The top bunk requires an XL twin mattress with dimensions of 39 inches wide by 80 inches long. The maximum recommended mattress height is 6 inches. The clearance between the rails is 35 inches high, and the clearance from the floor to the bottom rail is 10 inches (260mm). The bottom bunk includes a supporting leg, preventing a trundle from fitting underneath.
